Alpaca Mittens for the Anzac Day Long Week End

Alpaca Crochet Mittens

There’s still time to run into the store and buy the Morris and Sons 8 ply Alpaca needed for these.

Mittens
Materials:1 x 50g Morris Maya 8 ply. Sample in 3819 Ablaze (MC) and 1 x 50g Morris Maya 8 ply, 3817 Harvest (CC)
Needles: 3.50mm crochet hook
Tension: on 3.50mm hook measured over 10cm equals 22sts x 11 rows.
These mittens have a left hand and right hand respectively. This way the seam line formed by the beginning and end of the round is in the palm of the hand.
To fit: an average woman’s hand

NOTE: We used 1 x 50g MC for a pair of mittens. We had about 2metres left. Work sparingly and check your tension so you don’t run out of yarn!
